Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 29, 2026

Rise Law Firm, PC (“Rise Law Firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit www.riselawfirm.com (the “Site”), contact us, or communicate with us by phone, email, or text message; how we use and share that information; and the choices you have.

No Attorney-Client Relationship

Contacting us through the Site, by phone, email, or text message does not create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship is formed only when we agree in writing to represent you. Please do not send confidential or time-sensitive information until we have confirmed that we can represent you. We treat information you share with us as a prospective client as confidential, consistent with our obligations under the California Rules of Professional Conduct.

Information We Collect

Information you give us. When you submit our consultation request form or otherwise contact us, we collect the information you choose to provide, such as your name, phone number, email address, how you heard about us, and a description of your situation (which may include information about your employer, your job, and the events you want to discuss). If you call, email, or text us, we collect the information contained in those communications.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages you view, the website or ad that referred you, advertising click identifiers, and the date and time of your visit.

Call tracking. Some phone numbers displayed on the Site are tracking numbers provided by a call-tracking service. When you call one of these numbers, the service forwards your call to our office and records information such as your phone number, the time and length of the call, and the webpage or ad that led you to call. We do not record the content of calls.

How We Use Information

  • To respond to your inquiry and evaluate whether we may be able to help you;
  • To check for conflicts of interest, as required by our professional obligations;
  • To communicate with you by phone, email, and text message about your inquiry or potential representation;
  • To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
  • To understand how visitors find and use the Site and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising; and
  • To comply with legal and ethical obligations and to protect our rights.

Text Messages

If you provide your mobile number and agree to be contacted, we may send you text messages about your inquiry or case. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for help. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your text-messaging consent with third parties for their marketing purposes.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below:

  • Service providers. We use companies that help us run our practice and the Site, such as website hosting and performance services, form and case-management software, call-tracking, analytics and advertising services, accessibility tools, and spam protection. These providers may use your information only to provide services to us.
  • With your consent. For example, if you ask us to refer you to another attorney or we associate with co-counsel on your matter.
  • Legal requirements. When required by law, court order, or professional rules, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our firm, our clients, or others.

Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies, including tools provided by Google, to understand Site traffic and to measure and deliver our online advertising. For example, we may use Google Ads to show our ads to people who have visited the Site. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can manage Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com. Blocking cookies may affect how the Site works.

Do Not Track. Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. The Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to meet our legal, ethical, and professional record-keeping obligations. Information about prospective clients may be retained so that we can check for conflicts of interest.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we collect. No method of transmitting or storing information over the internet is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices and California Privacy Rights

You may ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you may ask us to stop contacting you. We will honor these requests to the extent we can, subject to our legal and professional obligations (for example, conflict-check and file-retention requirements). To make a request, contact us using the information below.

Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83 (“Shine the Light”), California residents may ask whether we have shared their personal information with third parties for those third parties’ own direct marketing purposes. We do not share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Site. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

The Site may link to websites we do not control, such as social media pages and news articles. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites.

Spanish-Language Version

A Spanish translation of this policy is provided for convenience. If there is any difference between the English and Spanish versions, the English version controls.
